A CHARTER ORDINANCE REPLACING AND REPEALING CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 341 THEREBY INCREASING AND SETTING THE AMOUNT OF MUNICIPAL COURT COSTS FOR EACH CASE FILED AND AUTHORIZING SUBLETTE MUNICIPAL COURT TO CHARGE AND COLLECT COURT COSTS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SUBLETTE, KANSAS:

Section 1. COURT COSTS. The City of Sublette, Kansas Municipal Court is hereby authorized to charge and collect seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per case for each case filed in Sublette Municipal Court.

Section 2. AUTHORIZATION. The Municipal Court court costs are authorized by this Charter Ordinance, which is adopted by the City of Sublette, Kansas pursuant to the authority of the Kansas. Constitution Article 12, Section 5 allowing cities the power of Home Rule to enact ordinances that may not be enacted by the State Legislature uniform to all cities.

Section 3. CONFLICTING ORDINANCES: All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance and specifically Charter Ordinance No. 342 are hereby repealed.
